How do you remember your dreams?

You are more likely to remember dreams if you wake up suddenly from sleep, such as the stupid alarm clock going off just when you were about to......... They suggest keeping paper and pen next to the bed to right them down quickly. Generally dreams are abstract without color or time/spatial dimension, so even places you recognize are disoriented in direction/shape/arrangement and it's why you can't actually READ anything but assume you can, same as thinking you remember seeing colors. Usually your brain idles through some expected or possible scenario you may run into and the possible outcomes, sometimes heavy with universal symbolism, and sometimes so obvious that the next day you say "Deja Vous!" there are plenty of dream-related sites and groups, the main thing is to remember that you can control your dreams, make them turn out the way you want them to. If you are falling, remember you can fly.

Using the power of suggestion: give yourself the thought before going to sleep to remember what you dream and many times this will actually happen...at least it has for me over the years. My dreams are more absorbing than anything on T.V.

I can't even remember the dreams I have when I wake up. It feels like I never had any dreams. I don't have any dreams when I am sleeping. Odd...

Immediately upon awakening you should write down all of the dream or dreams that you remember. This will train the subconscious to remember more and more.

I don't make an effort to "remember" dreams. I tend to remember those that make me feel guilty or afraid.
