Control your emotion or it will control you. What if you have no emotion? It might sound terrible at first but to me it seems amazing. If you are not distracted by feelings of hate, love, pain, agony, depression, happiness, etc. then you will be able to achieve almost anything you want.

The question is about the corruption of the mind.
Why are we so corrupted?
Innocence is not an attribute not something you can learn.
You have it as a gift but you then loose sight of it only to be reminded of it through you children.
Has an innocent mind a place in our society??

Assuming logic can become flawed (contradict itself) and that logic is the the systematic process behind philosophy. Also assuming that philosophy is what is behind everything in the world. What are we following? Aren't we contradicting our very own existence? What are we really searching for in a quest that contradicts itself? Why ask why?

What I mean is emotional death? How do you revive someone who is emotionally dead? What could be the possible cause of emotional death?

Thank you.

This is a situation wherein emotions don't matter anymore, it's so familiar that it doesn't function anymore.

This is not a psychological or mental case, more like a spiritual, emotional and philosophical case.

At what point do we as philosophers, thinking beings, start going around in circles and contradicting ourselves with our own answers. Can logic make itself work againist itself?

The greatest sin, I believe is not asking why and blindly accepting what the majority says. Only accepting what the majority says is worse than death itself.

Everyone seems to talk about philosophy as if it is some sort of old worn out rag.
I personally believe that life itself is philosophy. Everything that a individual or group believes is their philosophy and what we believe defines who we are. Philosophy is everywhere.
All businesses, schools, religions, and countries revolve around their own philosophy. Even all our sciences and matematics started with philosophy.
What do you think?
