The universe has a beginning and it will end. What it means to me is this: "somewhere between the beginning of the universe and the end of the universe my life has a beginning and it will end, between the beginning and the end of my life the universe will support my body and mind. Within all of the attending minutiae and grandiose glory of this universe I will live to my death. After that the universe will die and I won't be here to hold any concerns about it. I will be in the company of He who created this universe."

I would like to think Gods universe is forever..

Forever - I can not envision it like when people first thought the world was flat and you would fall off the end mentality..

End - If it does have an end, to me there would have to be a new beginning of some sort.. life is like that. Someone dies and a baby is born, I think the whole makeup of the universe is like that..

The universe lasts forever as the dreamer, but dimesions (our physical reality) only last for one dream of the dreamer. Still as a part of the mental dream of the dreamer we will always live on in esscence through the very point that we were dreamt of.
What all this means, is that we must realize that we are only mortal and must live by that fact. Still we must never forget our connection with the dreamer because without the dreams the dreamer would exist.

The universe is not forever due to its ability to grow, therefore it can end. Either way it means nothing to me in this life, perhaps some other life some other day.

One of two things will happen: The universe will either collapse back in on itself to a singularity like a reverse big-bang, or it will keep expanding and cooling down until it's so big that there's not enough energy left to support gravitational, electromagnetic, and weak nuclear forces, so that all atoms matter will cease to exist. They are called the Big Crunch and the Big Freeze, respectively.

The universe is finite in nature, both physical and existence. The universe is curved that is why the distance of stars can't be measured properly. The universe will,(if God allows) experience a
heat death, where all the usable energy will be expended.

No, the Universe is part of the same cycle as we are. All matter and energy go through either very tiny, or very grand cycles of rebirth. In about 4 billion more years, our planet will cease to exist and eventually all of matter will recompress for another Big Bang. Human sould also pass through these cycels, so we have no "end" as it is understood in finite terms. Remember: time is not a straight line. :)

A lot say it will end, but we won't be too sure.

In the side of Science, they say someday it might end because the sun is just a star and someday it may burn out and we can't survive w/out heat and light.

According to religion, though, they don't have a say on it, as far as I know.

No optioon would mean to me for the time it MIGHT end, I would be history.

There is something that is very temporary about me.. this body, and there is also something that is eternal about me.. the being.
So, the end of the universe, if it has to happen is not going to alter either of these two of my state of being. And if the universe remains, well, I am in it too !
