For instance, is after you have had enough, but had your fill? Or could it be bfore you lose your temper and wind up in jail.... just wondering.

Perhaps you need to look within and harness those emotions. Temper needs to be tempered.

I think Aristotle said "Anyone can become angry--that is easy. But to be angry with the right person, to the right degree, at the right time, for the right purpose and in the right way--this is not easy."

enough is enough when the person is doing damage to someone.

as far as words go.
at least to me,
that is a far boundry,
when the words hurt my wife, or my child,
it is a short boundry,

of course, I usually try to get away first,
but sometimes a knucklehead will get what they are desperatly asking for,
no one can steal your temper,
you have to give it to them,

if someone is attempting to pick a fight ( physically)
the first hit that hurts is the one to many.
