No matter what group you are in, and everyone is a part of a group, even if you are independent of a group, you are still in a group, a family, a club, a subculture, a religion, ect.. I just don't understand why it so bad to say you are for ex. a christian, if you are christian. Why should you be offended by it? if it is true? I know there is that associations which you rather not be associated with but why is labeling things as they are so offensive to some people? I am full of questions

Many people can conceive of time having no end, but can you conceive of it having no beginning. Afterall, either "god" or time is pre-eternal. Correct?

What do you think of sites like Stonehenge or the pyramids? What do you think these kinds of things mean? Don't just tell me what you've read, tell me what you think, what you feel.

Okay, what I mean by this question is if a being, such as a god, is so powerful and so complex how can a person even begin to comprehend this idea? Or rather, how can a relgion created by human being be doing the will of 'god' if 'god' is such a complex being that we cannot understand what 'god' is and what 'god' is truly "thinking"?

Realizing;

that truth is reality and vice versa.

and that the denial of truth/reality is deemed to be insanity.

By what other means can one deny truth/reality other than belief(s)?

Note that deception occurs ONLY by the acceptance of belief(s).

I have learned (here at Answers) that it is possible for a human to have two sets of chromosomes if two zygotes fuse into one, for example. The resulting animal - which could be human - is one of many forms of chemerism. At the same time, much of the debate and doubts around abortion are based on the existence of a soul which grants humans of a special status.

While most or all people agree that killing a 6 or 7 month fetus is as wrong as killing a new born, oppinions begin to diverge as the age of the fetus reduces. At some point in the fetus time-line, being anti-abortion is something only the most radicals agree with: if you think that the pill doesn't prevent fertilization, it is technically a form of abortion of a 2 or 3 day zygote.

On the other hand, if abortion is wrong because life is sacred, when does it become sacred, i.e., when do we get a soul? At conception? So how does chimerism come into play? Do souls fuse? Or do we get souls only at birth? Or are we soul-less?

Why do we diet? Ladies, gentlemen isn't it about looking better than other women, or men? Honestly. Think about it. You think you're fat, usually because you notice that the girls/guys in school, or in the office, or in the magazine or on TV are skinnier or buffer than you. So you go on a diet. Doomed to failure. Why? Think about this. Athletes don't tell themselves what crappy players they are to improve their proformance. What do we do when we diet? We sit around telling ourselves how fat we are. We constantly berate ourselves for anything short of perfection. So what do we do about this?
