By accepting that aging and, for that matter, dying, is part of life. For me, as long as I am able, I will find reason to laugh and continue my efforts to bring joy to all those within reach.

For most of us, the suffering that comes from growing older should be a personal struggle. There as those that need to know when I hurt so that they might ease the pain. Towards others, the "happy face" I show in not merely a mask, but my way to cope and not spread my own discomfort.

I soak in energetic joy from my grandchildren, my wife, good movies and music, from green trees, beautiful sunrises, crashing waves and a good joke, now and then.

But excepting hte fact that they are old, and yet still trying to feel young. Not worrying about Botox or creams out there to make themselves appear younger, also not dressing or acting like they are younger than they are. I say, growing old gracefully is not being ashamed at how old you are, but being proud you lived that long.

Practice being old and cranky before age thirty and dont deviate from that posture until age fifty. Then let your body age you naturally like the bottle of fine wine that you are and you will find that you have mellowed and become gracefull in nature's own time. Also learn to go slow and stay away from people who have negative thoughts.Other than that, learn to laugh more at yourself and at other people. Then tell them to get the hell out of your way--be old and cranky again. Its good for you no matter how old you are.

When a person has finally transformed his heart and refined his level of vibrations, he has grown vertically, with grace.

When a person grows horizontically, he has accumulated much material riches, which he cannot bring with him after he has left his material body.

What one cannot bring along with him after he passes away, is of no importance.
