Philosophy - June 2006

I believe that it is more likely that reincarnation is the way of things than it is that we are here for only one physical lifetime. My belief in a Higher Power actually reinforces this belief because it makes very little sense that our everlasting soul would spend such a minute speck of time in the physical realm. I believe that each soul, a piece of the whole of God, experiences many physical lives. I believe that I have lived in the physical realm more than a thousand lives. Even that number may be very conservative.

Even if they were rotten to the core, and never asked you for forgiveness, would you damn them and cast them into a lake of fire if you had the power? Would you love and forgive them no matter what? Would you care for them regardless?

If you were Hitler's parents, would you send Adolf Hitler to hell, if you begat Hitler? Would you forgive your genocidal child? Even if they hated you?

i know it might sounds like a stupid question but think about this question for a moment...keep thinking...keep thinking..ok well if God knows whats going to happen in the future, wouldnt you think it would be boring for God to sit and watch what he knows is going to happen. Also if he does knows the future it means he has your destiny already layed out...

Placing the blame........ Why is that we always want to blame some one else....... For our own mistakes, for our own failures, for the worlds failure, even try to add GOD into the blame? Where does it really get you? Where would it really get me? Face up to reality and do your best in all you do...... LOVE like you were going to leave here tomarrow. And do it everyday........ LOOK at the positive and draw out the good in you....... Draw out the good in people......... Learn to LOVE the way LOVE should be............... If I you lost someone in your life tomarrow, would they have gone knowing in their heart you loved them? Make LOVE a goal instead of the hate, instead of playing into the blame game.... And be happy for your life for your family. For the many things taken for granted everyday................ "Just my thoughts..........." LOVE is Good people......... Love is wonderful and there is so much good that is over shadowed by too MUCH hate.........

I have had people tell me that it is not possible for it to be even close to "real" if your eyes have not met and no words were spoken directly to eachother. How can they say that and mean it? I can see my neighbor, I can shake her hand, and we can talk up a storm but I don't feel a strong connection with this person... so is that supposed to be more "real"? Because this person is standing in front of me?

He seems to know me better than I know myself. His face is so familiar...as if we had met before. When I saw his face I looked, then I had to look again...then I went back and looked again! Studying every outline of his face trying to figure out the connection......

In my opinion, I am connected to this person on a "soul" level, which to me is more real then any stranger standing in front of me.

I have my own beliefs why people are subject to such disasters. It's science. It's random. It is the process of evolution, and some people live in places where disaster strikes. You wouldn't build a house on an active volcano would you? When that volcanoe erupts and destroys your village, would you say that that happened because you are sinners?

I'm just very curious as to why people believe such sensational nonsense. What drives people to surmise the reasons for a disaster to be solely the hand of the Lord?

I'm not saying live a crazy dangerous life...I'm saying why not eat what you want to eat even if it is not so great for you? Take a few chances that are within reason. So Diet Coke might be bad for you...at least you can say you can drink what you want. People die every day who are health fanatics for tons of reasons. Not worry about money so much and worry about enjoying life.

the theory or entropy, the flow or order to disorder.
to me this doesn't fit with the theory of evolution.
what are the alternitives? intellegent design? perhaps, who truly knows. perhaps we are just an alien expeirment in chaos. I don't know. I'm not going to taint the answers with what i believe because I want to try to remain open minded about this.
