I'm not sure, but eremikophobia is the fear of sand or deserts.

I haven't ever liked sand either. It's dirty and rough. I hate when you get it in your mouth. Eating on a beach is the worst. If it's windy I hate it even more. There can be glass and who knows whatelse in it. Beaches only look good; being there isn't that great. I think they are so aesthetically pleasing because of the contrasting colors of the water, sand, and foliage.

Depends where the sand is.
If its in my five year olds hair - no way
If its in a community sandbox for the kiddies - no way ( why, because all the animals in town think its a toilet)
If the sand is on a beech - yes I love it

"If it's in my swim suit............. I can't stand it.............." If I am walking on the beach and enjoying the fresh air, and the warm sand is squishing in my toes, I love it.....
