Definitely. Take for example getting somebody to listen to you. You can talk to a therapist and be charged expensively for every hour. The end result is worth every penny, yes. But you could have taken the time to talk to a loved one or a very close friend whom you admire and whose opinion you value, and it would have been absolutely free.
