Hey, I love to sing and have been told I have really nice tone but...... I am having a hard time hitting high(er) notes. Seriously, I sometimes have troubles with singing a C above middle C. It's like when I get around there, my voice just stops. I'm not tensing up and I'm sure its not in my head because, well i know thats not high. Any ideas? Vocal exercises, natural remedies. Also, I am only 14 so is it possible that my voice is just changing? Will it go away? please help! It's really frustrating!

I can't sing in my head voice very well. it doesn't make a sound when i try to hit certain low notes in my head voice. could this be because of my cold/stuffy nose?

Remember the show on TV years ago I saw, a man holding two large brass rings ( the size of hoola hoops ) and began the trick with them seperated showing the audience, then moved them to and fro and they linked together...HOW did he do this?

I need to find one for a solo song for my choir concert. The deadline is friday and I'm about to give up. This song can be a broadway song, but these are already taken,

-Good Morning Baltimore
-Do You Know the Way to San Jose
-The Boy From New York City
-Bright Lights, Big City Nights
-Broadway Baby
-New York City Rhythm
-On Broadway
-Santa Fe
-New York, New York

and thats all I can remember as of now.

*oh, preferably in a lower key. I am an Alto2/Tenor 1 but I can sing Soprano 2 (and sometimes soprano 1 if it isnt too high)

i have a very small amount of vibrato when i sing and i think it would sound better if i had a little more...is there any way to change the amount of vibrato, or are you stuck with what you're born with?

Two of my music teachers say I don't have talent but I have drive. It just makes me feel discouraged and lately I have been feeling that I need to find my OWN voice, but I dont know how to. I want to believe that I am talented because if not then why would God put this strong passion in me. And it just makes me feel so down and like I dont have career in music while I am only 14.

I'm the sound technician for my school's play the miracle worker (the story of helen keller and annie sullivan).
i need a classical orchestra song for the part at the end when helen finally realizes what annie has been trying to teach her for the whole play; that the sign language she does in her hand stands for objects and things her life.
so the song must capture the mood of the scene which is joyous, extremely happy, miraculous, etc.
im not a mozart or classical music expert and ive been searching for weeks and havent been able to find anything that comes close..

I'm already involved in the local pageants for the miss america program. But, does anyone know of other pageants in southern california, specifically Orange County and Southern LA county. And, if you do know of some, do you have the registration prices?

I use to know how, but when I had gotten sick, it disappeared. Now I sing mostly from my nose (and that's bad).

ok, so guys. We all know this area is very complex, but I would love to hear your tips on reaching this register. I have recently unlocked this part of my voice, but am still trying to fix the muscle memory. some days i can sing in it for hours, others i just can't get it and so start straining. I believe that everyone is capable of singing in this way, after all, one of the tips give to me was to meow like a kiten, and most of us can do that (can't we) it is just development, the correct air flow should be as if you were blowing a feather from your hand, and no tension what so ever in the throat, but it is easier said than done. so how did you guy's first get to it, what was it that suddenly clicked for you?? something often justs sparks things off for us, so please give me some tips on how to remember where this place is!
