I would like to hear from people that are interested in Paris Hilton's life, and TomKat's, and Brittany Spears'.... I know what the theories are, but they come form people who are not interested, or at least pretend not to be interested.

I need help coming up for ideas to create a propaganda poem of the new weapons of WWI. I’m doing a picture for it and it is a tank pointing to the the central powers and a soldier carrying a machine gun and the central powers are running away. The poem has to do with the picture so if you can please help me with ideas or something it would be great because honestly I can’t write poems and i tried!!!!

I'm a whitey brit but I've spent over 2 years in India including 6 months in Jaipur ( had tea with the Maharani of Jaipur and have many friends in Juhu) and I must say that ..

Shilpa is an excellent example of Indian sophistication, beauty, grace and intelligence.

Jade is low life, ugly, fat, ignorant scum and is just a disgrace to Britain. I don't she's racist just very stupid and thick.

What can we do to not become violent too, and to not become victims either.....sometimes it is violence to others, and sometimes you can't run.

remember the subject of the poem does not have to be about love... I think that subject is highly overrated.... hey but if your favorite poem is a love poem then its fine to put it here. My favorite poem personally (the 1st one that comes to mind anyways:) is one of Emily Dickinson..... Success is tasted sweetest by those who never succeed, to taste a nectar requierest sorest need........ :) I dont know it word for word....... I just remember a few words so my bad if its not word for word but I always like the message of that poem about how people who never succeed savor or appreciate success the best. I especially like the example she gives in her poem.... about a mortally wounded soldier left to die in the battlefield... who listens and hears the cheers of his enemies who have claimed war victory. That poem is my favorite.... which one is yours?

This is something I wrote.I am an amateur,I am 16 and I would please like your opinion about it.Thanks.

If Only

I do not mind letting you go
with what you have taken from me
the memories you leave behind can last me a lifetime
the moments we have shared can see me through
if only you will still come in my dreams
as you used to…
I do not mind not following you
to the ends of the world
to spend all my breathing moments in your presence
if only you will hold me when I die
and whisper ‘I love you’, even if it is a lie
for one last time…
I do not mind knowing you are happy elsewhere
and will be, without me-
after all, one smile from you compensates for everything I have got
(however cliché it might sound, my love)
if only I can see a tear in your eye
as I fade into darkness…
forever.

The poem is A bird came down the Walk by Emily Dickinson. In the poem she offers a bird a crumb and then it flies away. I separated the last paragraph with slashes. Can anyone please paraphrase these sentences line by line? I'd appreciate it so much!:) Here it is:
"And he unrolled his feathers/
And rowed him softer home/
Than oars divide the ocean/
Too silver for a seam/
Or butterflies, off banks of noon/
Leap, plashless, as they swim"
