I need to have some examples why rich, white men "ruled" America from 1754 to 1860. I would really like it if you included your sources (preferably a book), but I won't mind if you won't. I need an answer in the next three and a half hours. Thank you!

I am not a communist nor do I support it, I'm just curious on why and how did one of the most powerful nations in the history of the Earth collapse?, was it Ronald Reagans fault?, Mikhail Gorbachevs?, Joseph Stalin's?, if the 1991 Coup Leaders had arrested Boris Yeltsin would the Soviet Union still be standing today?, what if Trotsky became leader instead of Stalin?, would he have been a better leader?, what if Perestroika happend first instead of Glasnost?, overall, what were the main causes of why the U.S.S.R. collapsed?

I'm doing a report on the physical treatment of slaves in the United States and Brazil. It is a comparison of the punishment methods, living quality, and other comparable things between the two nations. Does anyone have any good sources on the subject for either country or both? I was given Carl Deglers book Neither Black Nor White, but that's all. I just need some sources, thanks!

Last time I checked, the Biggest Wars ever fought were World Wars One and Two.

Last time I checked, Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Roosevelt were two of the biggest liberals who ever sat in the White
House.

Last time I checked, America won both of those wars.

Last time I checked, the guy in charge when we lost our biggest war (Vietnam) was Nixon, one of the most conservative presidents we ever had. He decided to "cut and run" to use a popular conservative term.

Kennedy was a liberal. He was a war hero.
Jimmy Carter was the last true liberal in the White House. He graduated second in his class from the Naval Academy and served on board a nuclear submarine. Jimmy's son Chip, served as a lowly private in the infantry in the Army in Vietnam.
Probably the most liberal person who ran for President in living memory was George McGovern. He flew bombing missions over Germany.
