I need some information about the early ninteenth century reformer, Robert Owen.

Here are the questions I need answered:

1.) What was he trying to reform?
2.) What methods did he use to improve American life (writing, speaking, traveling, etc.)?
3.) What success did he have in promoting reform?
4.) What is interesting about his work that made him a historical figure?
5.) Did he want to achieve his reforming goals through fanatical or impractical means?
6.) What lasting impact did he have on American society?
--------------------------------------...
Also, if you have references to other websites about Robert Owen, that is greatly appreciated as well.

Thank you,

Paul.

Where would I find information to develop a timeline for a history of the growth and participation in the political proccess with important events and milestones??? This is for the years 1215-1776 (magna carta-declaration of independence)
In other words, i'm making a timeline about what events lead up and made government... and i don't know where i could find the info about this :) thanks ahead of time, and any random site with random world history events isn't really helpful, i need something that will tell me the events that lead up to a government :)

According to his autobiography, he did not give them any names and just told the FBI usless crap, which the weathermen told him was ok to do. Additionally, I have not been able to find any names on who was arrested because of Timothy Learys talks with the FBI. Yet, there are plenty of websites that say Leary is a rat. Can someone clear this up for me?
