Do you ever get the feeling that you were born at the wrong time ????
I really think I should have been born (maybe it was a former life) back a 100 years , would have hung out with Annie Oakley or dated Jessie James, Lived in Deadwood. Riding horses and working the land with my 2 hands.. Its really weird sometimes.
What do you all feel???

The doors are about 5 feet tall on average. I asked my tour guide if this was because people used to be shorter. She said "No, its because it was to prevent horses from entering houses during invasions." I just cant believe that. It seems like a silly answer.

On a recent holiday to Cyprus, which is a small island in the Mediterranean sea approx. 4000 miles from America, i read a very informative book entitled "1776 America and Britain at war"
In the book it is said Washington would sign his letters to Reed " Your affectionate and obedient servant".
This was totally out of order, in those days from one man to another. This then begs the question, was Washington, America's leading man,.....Bi.
Just in case you are wondering the author is an american.

I have been reading the answers for some of the WW2 and Holocaust questions here on Yahoo! Answers and the range I am seeing is incredible. Everything from 6 million to 50 million. I am pretty sure (from watching History Channel and such) that there were about 10 million "undesirables" killed by the Nazis (if your numbers are different I would be interested) but I am also wonder what were the numbers on soldiers from different countries and civilians (in bombing, treason starvation...). Does any one have a total, that they believe is accurate and why do you think that? I don't need exact numbers from each country. Thanks!

I've done all but 2 of the questions that I'm suppose to answer re: the Little Big Horn battle, but the article they gave me as a resource jumps all over the place...Anyway, I'm super confused and would be grateful for any help you can give.

Here they are:

What did Custer do with his troops, in an attempt to beat the larger
force?

Which group had better guns?
