I have my own theory involving Lyndon B. Johnson, J. Edgar Hoover and some extreme right wing groups that could not stand to see an Irish-Catholic American as their president but I want to know what you think.
I can't help but think how things would be different if Kennedy was not murdered.
he would have ended the Vietnam dissaster and made peace with the Soviet Union and ended the cold war meaning that we would never have trained Osama Bin Laden to fight the Soviets in Afganistan, we would never have armed Sadam Hussein to fight Iran, Nixon would have never made it to the presidency and Cuba would be a great ally of ours by now.
