Around 700 years ago the Aztecs raided surrounding tribes and hauled them back to their pyramided villages where the captives were slaughtered by the tens of thousands. What happened to all the bones? There must be a helluva pile of them somewhere.

20th-century U.S. history seems to show that, in general, each generation is more permissive than the previous one. Things that were taboo for parents become more common-place for their children.
But, it seems to me that this can not be universal.

Can you name some societies and time-periods when the opposite was the case, so that I can know where to look to learn about the counter-examples?
Or, is my assumption completely off-base and the U.S. and/or the 20th-century are the abberation?

What was the use of female slaves back then? House keeper? Since I would think men were stronger and were worth more.

What is the percet of slave masters that had affairs with their wives with their female slaves?

How many had babies?

Did Thomas Jefferson have an affair with a black lady? and also had children with him?* *I heard it I dont' know if it's true.

How many africans are partly white, because of it out of wedlock.

How many mixed africans are mixed after slaverly ended.

The world financial system that emerged after World War I was based upon the gold standard. I found a old coke bottle where some guys where digging.
This bottle is clear, holds 61/2 oz. has 6 embossed stars around the middle. 5 smaller stars around the top. I can't make out the date on the patent but it looks like Oct. 30 1913 but that could be way off. The bottem says Bennettsville SC bottling company. I'd like to know what year this bottle is from and maybe how much its worth if anything.
