Has anyone seen the movie Amistad? I watched it for extra credit. This movie really hit hard. It was powerful and dramatic. It really makes me wonder how anyone could be treated so harshly based on their rank of slave, or because they were different? I'm not basing this on just the blacks in slavery, but the Jews in the holocaust. The Asians during World War II. Anyone who has been discriminated or considered as property. It makes me mad that people throughout history have been judged and discriminated based on what others have done, or where they live. Even Cacausions. They are assumed to be racist and greedy businessment. Is it fair for even them to be judged as a whole? Any thoughts? If you haven't seen it you should. It is rated R and has scenes of violence and nudity. It may be hard to track down though.

every time i take a "does your crush like you" quiz on a magazine or online or something, they always revolve around the guy being nice to me.
except this guy friend i have, i've known him for quite a while, so our relationship revolves around teasing and making fun of each other and stuff, but not in a mean way. in a funny way, and we laugh it off later. so every time i take one of those quizzes, i always score really low, just BECAUSE this guy i like is not the type that is super-nice to me. of course, he can be really nice when he wants to be, when i'm feeling sad or something, but usually it's just a fun-type of relationship....

As i was about to read my novel about Queen Elizabeth I. I noticed "robin" dudley in the desciption on the back of the book. I thought Elizabeth had romantic links with Robert, not Robin. Could someone please explain ?

I'm writing a 10 page paper on The treatment of children in the Auschwitz concentration camp during WWII. I know this topic is narrow enough, but is it TOO specific? Should I change it to concentration camps in general?
Also I'm not sure what my thesis should be. ANYHOW I'm not asking anyone to do any work for me, I just need opinions on whether my topic is good and if I should alter it a little.
