I suspect you are asking about Patrick Thomas Campbell, who was the Headmaster of Boston Latin School from 1897-1929. That would explain why a school in Boston is named for him. Boston Latin is the oldest public school in the US, having been established in 1635. Benjamin Franklin, John Hancock, and Samuel Adams were all students at Boston Latin.
