Not to mention WW2 got us out of the great depression. So he killed a bunch of people, are we going to be a glass half empty or half full civilazation.

My bf and I read the Napoleon history recently, it's a shame that he lost the last last battle in Waterloo... but tell me, what do you think would happen if Napoleon succesfully united the whole Europe (including GREAT BRITAIN!)? What would be the impact for modern world today? Would we have a better world now or worse? What would happen to France?

I'm trying to do my (boring) History homework and can't remember what the word is that I need to do a research assignment on.
The word has to do with medieval time and medieval wars. It has to do with passing down to another member of the family or something like that.

It's not HEREDITARY, I already know all the meanings of that and I don't remember my teacher telling me that that was the word.

Any suggestions of what this name is would be fantastic.
Thanks :)

If a nation crying for liberty and democracy as trademark launch a war against another country for oil? Boasting of their freedom of speech but actually dont want that freedom in other countires for their interest? See what happened to Kerry for just telling a truth? Why Castro or Chavez are devils if they are only enemy to only some small group of people willing to manipulate the world?

Before Germany was created, there were little bits of "states", right? When they all came together, they became Germany. Anyone know what this process was called? (Or does anyone know about it that you can tell me a bit about it?)

Hi, I'm doing homework, (of course! it's Sunday night!! lol), and i have a question concerning President Jackson and The United States Military Academy at West Point. I cannot find ANYTHING in my book or even on the net even closely related to my question!! perhaps i'm searching wrong, but anyways, this was my last hope!! Here's my question:

"Why did Jackson believe that the US Military Academy at West Point was a priveleged institution and should also be shut down? What were his arguments?"

Thanks and all help is greatly appreciated. I hope you all have great nights!!
