Class systems still seem exist all over the world - WHY?

They have existed since time began, but why should somebody be treated differently because of who they are born to.

I will not be treated like Prince Bill but how do we break down these barriers?

get blown to hell and back?

London bombings toll rises to 37
A series of bomb attacks on London's transport network has killed more than 30 people and injured about 700 others. BBC 7/7/2005
..and lets not forget all those blown to bits at so many subways and train stations back in the mid to late 1990's as to defy count.

I'll tell you my opinion..because their Intel..like ours..has good days and bad days. Despite all of the technology involved..it gets down to people..falable people. So bash Bush..bash the current admin...but put the death tolls side by side and you'll see..the US is
infinitely safer than ANYWHERE in the UK.

In my opinion..it was the all consuming conflagration of Hitler's Riechstag on 2-27-1933. This set the stage for Hitler being able to assume full and absolute control of Germany and the soon to follow establishment of Nazi Germany. This single event was pivotal to Hitler's rise to power and the ensuing war and Holocaust events. You thoughts???

I need assistance identifying this sword. I will do my best to describe it to you.

The sword is one that we have owned for wuite some time, but had been in storage in the attic. I recently brought it out and have looked it over but cant quite identify the actual origin and type.

The sword has a slightly curved blade and is of Bastard length. The blade itself is very wide, and quite heavy. The grip is suited to a single hand, but can be used with two. The pommel is flarred wide and preventss the hand from slipping off the heavy sword.

The quillion is not as large as most, and sweeps foward on both sides. Most distinguishing feature is the curvature of the blade, it almost resembles a middle eastern weapon, but has a spanish look and feel to it.

I know this is hard to do by mere words, but can someone point me in the right direction as to the type and origin of this sword.

My initial guess is Spanish, with some sort of middle eastern influence.

During World War II the Axis made several critical mistakes that in my opinion cost them the whole war? As sad as the world would have been if they won they could have. In my opinion the move that cost them was bringing in the U.S. into the war to early. Even if Pearl Harbor wasn't attacked Britian would have asked us to get involved sooner or later because they were being attacked relentlessly by Germany. But it would have been much later than we were originally suppose to be in the war. That would have given Germany enough time to weaken Britian more and possibly even try to invade Britian. What do you think the Axis biggest mistake was and why?
