Preferably in the U.S people. I have names of ones in Russia andthe U.K but none in America. I don't want performing arts colleges...just ones that specialize in dance.

i have tried a lot of things... art classes, soccer, taekwando, horseback-riding, and a lot of other stuff in my past. im not much of an athlete but do you think 14 years old is too old to start going to a ballet class? i really want to do something other than staying at my house all day. but when i did soccer i was the only one on my freshman team who hasnt played before and i was really bad compared to the others because they have been playing ever since they were little. so do you think im too old to start something like this? thanks!

I have always wanted to be Clara in our yearly performance of "The Nutcracker".I think there are other people who have better chances because of there famlies "helpfulness" to the company.

I need to know how to tell the company director I would like this part in a somewhat subtle way. I don't want to be pushy like some people I know, but I still want them to know I'm there and that I think I would be good for the part.

I would really appricate any help I can get.

P.S This is not a very large company and there is a lot of nepitisim going on.

I was thinking about ballet, swing, belly dancing or (I no it's not a type of dance but) yoga. I can't decide which one would have more benefits over all. I’m looking for something fun, appealing, and also something that I’ll get exercise out of. Do any of you have a say in this, from your own personal experience or interest? Maybe there’s another type of dance you think I should try.
