what kind of dance is the main dance in "Step Up"????
I loved the movie and i love to dance but i have never taken any lesson or anything and was wondering what it is so i could join

Looked like Jazz and modern dance, with some ballet mixed in!

It is jazz mixed in with a little modern which is why some of the time you saw people who danced barefooted. The movie also had hip - hop in it.

i think it was hip hop. I took hip hop dancing last year and we did that sort of thing!â¥
