Does anyone here know how to get in touch with dance teachers named Sylvia Alexander or Darlynn Banks. They taught at Columbia Park Recreation Center in Columbia Park, Maryland about 25 years ago?

They are not listed in the yellow pages or 411.com so a phone number or a current studio would be greatly appreciated.

i want to start ballet but i dont know if i should even bother. i kno that ppl lose their flexibility over time, but im 14. i started getting interested when i began doing ballet exercises every morning. i horseback ride and those exercises would help me. The book i use is : The NYC Ballet Workout: Fifty Stretches and Exercises Anyone Can Do For A Strong, Graceful and Sculpted Body. I dont know if there are any qualifications for a dancer but im 14, 5'2" and 100lbs. Ive done research so ik what im getting myself into. I really would like to try but dance is very demanding and i ride on the weekends, play two instruments and sing so i have lessons for those also. it is reccommended that a class is taken 3 times a week to everyday, but i dont want to join a dance troupe or become prima ballerina. I just want to dance for fun and as kinda of a "sport" for school. I dont have much dance expireience either. so HELP!! am i just getting into something or should i go for it. thnx

My boyfriend is a very traditional man. He doesn't like to see I should dance holding other men. Besides, in a party, we usually sing Kara Ok. Or some girls would like to give hot weird dance. I don't know social dance is useful or not? BTW, I m 22 now. Do I have to learn it when I'm 30? I dunno. Help me!!!

I have a little background in most forms of dance, ballroom, ballet, jazz, modern, not extensive, but I do have a love for teaching and a love for dance. I take as many dance lessons as possible. The problem is I'm 26 is it too late for me to consider becoming a teacher?
