Cool I'm 14 and a dancer too...well I dance ballet,hip-hop,jazz,salsa,breakdance,etc...I dance everything well I learn by watching other ppl...for example I improved my salsa by watching a lot of salsa videos at youtube.com and there you can watch anything!! You can also watch movies for example there is STEP UP which comes to theathers today, there's Dirty Dancing 1 and 2 where you learn about latin rythms, bring It On where you learn anything,High School Musical where you learn a lot to,etc...there are many ways to dance you can learn that way!

try release techniques but that mostly exists in Europe.has to do with the floor, jumping, animal way of moving, it ROCKS!!check out 'Ultima Vez', 'Teressa der Keersmaker'(spelled kinda like that), 'Pina Bausch'.if u think yr good, check Brussels and The Netherlands for contemporary dance. also Vienna dance festival every summer, the best choreographers and teacher for 4 weeks, could get a job if someone likes u.

Me too! Start with this leaps combination and change it until you mould it into something you like: Lunge, turning partabare(Probably spelt wrong, but it's the behind, side front thing, but turn to the back when you go to the side and back to the front when you go in front) then a double tuck(a hop where when you are in mid-air, you snatch up the other foot, so both are in the air and land on the second foot to come up), now do a big dramitic lunge, normal partabare and split leap.
This one is more like a dance: start in one corner, move on a diagonal. The combanation is: Lunge, half turn, lunge, half turn, side jazz walks,(side, cross in front, side cross in front with hips), now a reallly low deep lunge and snatch into fith on your tip-toe, slightly turning, so that you are facing the corner that you came from, high chaine. Now kick you front leg slowly, amd roll forward into a kneeling position.

Do you watch 'So You think You Can Dance?' that really helps, or watch figure skating. Practice the jumps and you will learn a new dance.

It depends on the type of dance you are doing, do you preform jazz, tap, ballet, point, classical, or ballroom and then from the styles select music to complement those.

I don't have any "move" moves, but working on leaps and turn combinations can be fun and challenging. Try fautes into back attitude turns, or into turning stags. Some leaps you can try, which you might already know are stradle (second position) leaps, switch leaps, switch second leaps, turning switch leaps, romberches, chine-leaps, leap with your back toe touching your head. These are just "moves" I know, and I guess they can go with any music.

If you want to dance hip-hop, try "sliding". Sliding is what like Chris Brown, Omarion, and Usher.
