you mean IMPORTANCE ? well weather you're doing music, painting, photography, theater or anything else is the FEELING you get after this. It makes you feel better with yourself and makes you view life different. That's why all artists are starving because they are only following their feelings never expecting for something to come back to them. They are full filled mentally and spiritually. so this is, i reckon of great IMPORTANCE.

For the artist, it is a vehicle to express his/her creativity and ideas in a form they choose, whether it be writing, painting, architecture, sculpture or whatever. As one who appreciates art, it allows for an escape, for viewing an idea from another's viewpoint, for the chance to interpret ideas expressed in the art form, for moments or hours of pleasure enjoyed through the creativity of another. The Arts are essential to our sanity, especially in times of turmoil.
