FIRST OFF this was not made to offend anyone dancers or anyone in particular.Just had to make things clear i know some people get offended really quick and easy.

What i mean is the dance is a nice expressive dance(really beautiful) but i find that some people are using it for sexual(i can't really find another word) attraction purposes like *cough* *cough*------- ho**w**d.one a those bellydancing shows have on various performers performing in front of a (if you see the sultan you'll laugh so bad, the man looks so fake but anyway)what seems to be a prince/sultan in a very uh seductive way.

When i first saw it ,it sickened me because i love the dance and i don't believe you should use it in that way but that's just my opinion and some others agree .

So I'm asking you how do you feel about this and what is your opinion.Ok I'd like to hear your opinions about this but if you have anything bad or unnecessary to say..don't please...move on about your business.

Have A Nice Day :D

I'm in charge of my sisters' quinceniera music and stuff. And they want an openning ballroom sequence. But they don't want "boring old bubbly princess" music.... they're looking for a deep dark ball room dance. Like something outta Van Helsing. The part where Dracula hosts his ball and dances with Anna.

Well... a long story short.. im in luv wif dancing. I CAN NOT live without it, its my daily food i just cant go on without it. I really really want to make it as a proffesional dancer, more than anything in the world but, theres so much things that can get in the way of becoming a ballerina. DO you really have to have talent to be a ballerina? i was talking to my freind at dancing and shes a really talented dancer and she said that ballet isnt worth the hard work and pain and that talent isnt worth a thing. this made me really mad as i would seriously put a gun to my head in order to have just the tiniest bit of talent in dancing. I work my *** off everyday at the studio i am there everyday too and i never stop trying. some say that i wont ever be good enough, but i wont let them tell me that, they say that if i have to work that hard to just get a tiny bit better then its not worth it and i probably wont ever be good enough but the thing is, i could neva be happy if i stopped dancing?

I am looking for a samba dress at a reasonable price, something similar to the 'tiger pattern' dress Julianne wore on Dancing With the Stars when she danced to the "I like to Move It" song with Apolo. I live in a rural area, so it would need to be available for purchase online. Thanks!

okay so next semester i am planning on trying out for our high school's hip hop/ step team...
Currently i am a student at a dance studio taking private lessons for hip hop ( i have been doing hip hop for about almost a year) ..and my dance instructor is helping me doing choreo for the 2nd part of the try outs ( the 2nd part you have to perform your own routine.) and both of the teachers who run the team both know i dance and want me to try out...
i really have no doubt that i could make it with this choreography... that is, if my nerves wouldn't get the best of me! >.<
What should I expect at the try outs (the 1st portion is learning one of their routines) and any tips for the nerves?
Hopefully once the music starts...all the nervousness will drain out of me!
i really want to make this team more than anything!!!

I can't dance to save my life, plain and simple. Or maybe I just allow myself to believe that. I once embarrassed myself in elementary school at the prom and never danced again. My girlfriend on the other hand, loves to dance. Mostly the bump n grind type of stuff, but also slow dancing. I never want to go on the dance floor with her because she wants to push me to do dances and stuff that I never tried before where people look at me funny and it gets her kinda sad that I don't want to dance. Now, she wants to go to the homecoming dance at my college and I've been secretly taking ballroom dancing classes that are being offered here. I know it's not the same as grinding on each other and everything but I figure there will be at least one slow song to dance too. But I also wanted to know what people think about ballroom dancing nowadays. Is it enjoyable still, and do you think my girlfriend will be happy to see that I'm finally not being a wall flower and actually pulling her to dance?
