what kind of moves/techniques do they teach you??

ive never taken any type of dance...but im not completely clueless...i know a few moves and can dance a bit...what kind of hip hop class should i take??

Basic rythm if in a beginner class

In and advanced class you will make complicated routines and maybe a little brekdancing for men

check out your local studio, they should know what the best beginner class to take would be. in your class you'll probably be learning the basics: moving your hips while doing moves, some simple moves (like the six-step and freezes). dont stress out about shoes or anything, hip-hop is usually low key, and no dress code. just have fun!

I didn't go to class to learn, I was learning from videos and friends long time ago, but it's better to start from the beginners level, because in order to bust them real cool moves - you have to be in a good physical shape.

You'll most likely learn the basics, such as the "6 Step," how to incorporate your own style into a dance, and rhythm.
