Ballet isn't only a profession, but a passion. If you are passionate and let nothing stop you in your path of becoming professional, than reach for the stars! As many before has stated before me, yes many dancers have started at an earlier age; but that doens't mean your age will stop you!

here's the deal if you really want to do ballet you will certainly be able to
there is a saying which goes like this
if there is a will there is a way
if you want to do something badly you definitely can

No, but you are behind the eight ball. People half your age have been doing it for years, and that is a lot of catch-up. But it is possible if you have good teachers, a lot of money and time, and if you work twice as hard as your competitors. Good luck!

some have actually started as young as 3 or 4, I think it's great no matter what age you are to pursue something that you're passionate about. those are the ones who succeed the most. best of luck butterfly!

Nope, you'll just have to work as hard as everyother ballet dancer whos ever made a "career" out of it.

well I'm 13 now but i started at three but last year i started at a new studio and i wasn't good at it at all but i practiced at home and am good as all the other people in the class now so no and there is a girl that started at fourteen in my new studio and she is in a dance colledge in Ohio
