I'm 17 and have always been intrested in tap dancing. My mother never let me take classes when I was young and now I'm worried I'm too old. I have no formal dance training, no dance training at all. The most choreographed dance experience I have is when we learn dance routines for play tryouts. And if you know how much classes normaly cost....that would really help. Thank you!

I'm taking a beginners ballet class next semester in college. I think it looks fun but, some people are trying to persuade me not to take it because it is really hard dance to learn. Is this true? Is ballet hard to learn? Why?

the dance where the couple have an arm each pointing forwards, holding hands, then march so far, do some turn and march back again.

there' a really common piece of music that i've heard accompanying it (and always springs to mind) that goes:

da da da da dadadada-da, da da da da dadadada-da, da da da da dadadada-da, da dadada da-da-da.

(sorry but it's the only way i can express the tune)

what's it called? And who's it by etc?

i hope someone can help me with this.

I do belly dancing and I keep hearing people say that the larger figure looks better than too skinny. But when I look for skirts and harem pants they only go up to size 16. I am a size 20-22 but not overly fat-looking - does any-one know where I can find larger sized costumes - in particular harem pants and body stockings??

I've always been interested in doing ballet. I know that I can probably handle it because I'm an ex gymnast. I think I already know what I need to wear but If I'm correct then I need to know where to get it. I appreciate all of your answers, and thank you for taking the time to help me. PS- I need to know soon... my lessons start in 1 week
