Of course! It is never too late to learn something new. My mother started piano lessons at the age of 84. She gave all her kids piano lessons and never took the time for herself. It has given her so much happiness to finally do this.

yes it is okay, while he might not like classes now, it will be good for him, let him learn all types, granted I hated dance classes but now that I am grown, at least when I go out I can dance with people, and more than that butt shaking that everyone does in the club, Which I can do too. But the classic dances, and try him in swing too, I haven't done those yet, but it looks like a blast, not to mention, it is away for him to meet girls, he can become a little pimp. Most classes have 4-1 ratio

Now would be an excellent time to start--you are that age where soon you will be dating and going to school dances...unless you are talking about ballet or something like that--you can start now, but if you are looking to do it for a living, you may be behind schedule unless you are innately gifted.

Yes- I started teaching my boys when they were realy little. It does'nt matter what age you are , learning to dance is a cool thing-the girls love a guy who can dance.

yes!!! a person is never to old to learn to dance. and don't worry about being a guy, there are tons of guy dancers. go for it and just have fun with it =)

Learning anything is always easier when yo are young and have little inhibitions. Learn now, practice in private and then let it show in public when you are comfortable with it!

YES!!! Any kind of dancing. Ballet, Ballroom, Salsa, Tap....anything. BTW guy, women LOVE men who can dance.

yea, it is very ok, because when he goes to a party, at least he can dance not stand at a corner like some guys i used to know.
