Your white? who cares girl, if you have passion for something, go for it, if your friend says you have potential then go for it. It's all about trying new things about another culture and style of dancing, how you can express yourself, that would make you unique. I mean life is about experiencing new and exciting things, and I know you'll have fun and will probably be really good at it because you seem to be really interested, just do what you feel and have fun, k?!!!

dance dose not matter by the color of your skin and the dose not matter on what religion u believe . dance is a way to come past all of that and just feel the music and enjoy . take the class even if u don ' t succeed u can always learn something from that class . even if Ur dance instructor is not the bet enjoy it and experiment with other dances as well .

If being white could stop you - then don't dance it. You will face a lot more of much harder challenges along the way than just streotypes. Seriously, you are asking random people should you do something you are interested in or not... Let me try to dissuade you, OK? Just kidding. Remeber, stereotypes are limiting beliefs that shouldn't stop you.

Hip hop dance has nothing to do with the color of your skin, just because the majority of hip hop dancers are african american, that shouldnt stop u....that should inspire u to be different!! Good luck!

Go for it. I think the most inspiring thing about music, and hip hop for that matter, is that it does not recognize race. You're race should not prohibit you from being what you aspire to be.

Good Luck :o))!

Being white don't mean you can't dance...that's a sterotype! I know a lot of "very light skinned" people that can dance their butts off. I taught a lot of poeple that's "very light skined" and didn't have a problem....if you really want to dance then all you gotta do is put effort to it and dedication, and you can do it...go for it and when you do have confidence
