Hello all!

I am making a presentation comparing Beowulf and Something Wicked This Way Comes. The theme is greed/temptation in terms of the "Lay of the Last Survivor" and the carousel.

Any ideas/comments/suggestions would be kickass!

A New Day

When the red ball of fire,
Tips over the mountain,
The earth awakens.

The earth thunders with life,
With children,
With songs.

The earth paints itself,
With blue,
The color of a new day.

The earth lets out a melody,
A bird,
A voice.
The sounds of a daybreak.

When the red ball of fire,
Tumbles down the mountain,
The earth sleeps.

The earth shares a dream,
With those,
Who believe.

Follow me; follow me, through mixed-up world.
I’ll try to hold on to your hand and lead you through
this place. I’ll try to replace your mind, don’t talk
to yourself. Don’t talk me; I’m just full of silly love songs
and even sillier old lies of a world that will one day be peace.
Hey, don’t talk to me ‘cause I’ll fill your head with silly thoughts
Hey, don’t talk me ‘cause I’ll ruin your life for good.
You’re heavy with drowsy sleep, I’m heavy with bloody thoughts.
We’re too different peas in a pod and we just don’t belong.
What is wrong with everything that makes this world up?
Stupid songs won’t cure my hate and rage towards him,
you can’t cure my hate and rage towards him.
Don’t you try to force your “I love God” ways on me.
I’m just a mixed-up girl, in this really mixed-up world.
I’m trying to feel my way pass all this smoke and fog,
can’t see anything in this haze. What’s the point of it?
Why do we fall on our knees and cry out to the skies?

Jimmy Page is an out and out wierdo. He wont even talk about his personel life because hes embaressed by it---As far as david bowie being crowleys teachings i believe that was around the time of station to station when he was wiped on coke and traveling eastern europe giving the sieg hiel salute. As far as the beatles his picture shows up on the cover of sargent peppers cd thats about it.The stones were into it for a while but after Altamont and the murder i hear they kind of left those beliefs far behind.

Ghostlights were shimmering against the blue,

as time and life were flying by.

Crisp air filled my lungs with dew,

drenched in thoughts of you and I.

An unfinished puzzle left on the floor,

pieces all strewn in the shape of doubt.

Forever wanting just a little more,

until reality decides what we can live without.
