What are the similarities between "The Lesson" and "Raymond's Run" by Toni Cade Bambara?

What do you find in common between Sylvia and Hazel "Squeaky"?

Are the themes the same?

How has the Author's real life influenced these two short stories?

What kind of occupation do you like the heroes of a novel to have? There's the sport celebrities (football stars--like in the books by Susan E. Phillips--, soccer players, tennis...), the underwear/clothe models, actors, hotel owners.... what kind of occupation? Something that gives him time off to spend time at his cottage in the rural side of America.

This was an amazingly convincing rumour that came up on the leaky cauldron. Harry and Hermione could possibly be siblings. Think about it: How is it that Hermione could be so extraordinarily brilliant without any past magic in her? It is possible that she was adopted by her muggle parents...it is just a theory, and i thought it was rather lame at first, but the more i think on it, it seems quite accurate.

Just a rumour, or course.

What do you lot think?

I have to do this Outside Reading Book Project, where one of the options is 'to explain why the story would or would not make a great movie.' Personally, I think it would be a great movie(: Do you have any ideas? It should contribute towards a persuasive tone. Thanks!

Another option I might do is 'writing a diary as if I were a character in the story. That includes writting down events that happen during the story & reflecting on how they affected the character & why.

The last one I would be willing to do is to choose a song and relate its lyrics to the story. My teacher wants me to be detailed in my analysis. So what SONGS would you suggest?

Any ideas would be appreciated. THANK YOU! =D

I am looking for a good book that revolves around the French Revolution. I'm not looking for an encyclopedia article or a book with straight facts but more of a novel in the way that Killer Angels is about the American Civil War. All suggestions appreciated, but is there one book in particular that is well known?

More specifically books that were written a long time ago...I mean a really long time ago! But any books in which the seven deadly sins are key to the plot will work.
