I have to do this Outside Reading Book Project, where one of the options is 'to explain why the story would or would not make a great movie.' Personally, I think it would be a great movie(: Do you have any ideas? It should contribute towards a persuasive tone. Thanks!
Another option I might do is 'writing a diary as if I were a character in the story. That includes writting down events that happen during the story & reflecting on how they affected the character & why.
The last one I would be willing to do is to choose a song and relate its lyrics to the story. My teacher wants me to be detailed in my analysis. So what SONGS would you suggest?

The second one sound really easy because Bella goes through so much and you could go into really good detail about her feelings and stuff.

Easy.
This would be a good movie because of the captivating plot and defined relationships with the characters. The book would be better though because it's always easier to believe in relationships that are in books.
As for the song, well there are alot of twilight videos on youtube that all have good songs on them. Just go to youtube.com and search for "Twilight by Stephanie Meyer" and some should pop up there.

It would make a brilliant movie as all the characters could be portrayed by good actors. The dialogue is perfect and the scenery is so specific, that I can imagine them as happening as I'm reading them. Vampire romance movies are also extremely popular so it would gain popularity quickly.

I think like most books, it would make a lousy movie. Everyone has a different opinion on what the characters look like, and they would leave parts out like they always do. it would most likely disappoint - as most books to movies do. Choose the diary - it would be the most fun. Pax - C

I like the first idea best. (Even though I think that it would make a bad movie because they tend to butcher really good books when making them into movies). However you could argue that it would make a good movie because its not your typical love story, there is some fantasy thrown in there too.

i would chose the song opption...
i don't know a good song for twilight but a good song for the sequal (new moon... if they would let you use that instead) would be hurt be christina agulara... some lines of the song would be from jacob, edward or bella
i am so obbsessed i had done the same thing with one of my friends and it worked out fine!

i think it will be a movie because it has a lot of action (things happening) in it and it has a pretty good plot
