Mine is Parfume by Patrick Suskind =D
There is going to be a movie filmed after this book but I think that there are things that cannot be put on the screen and provoke feelings like a good book can.

What do you think of the book? Its a follow up to Book of Shadows which I loved. I'm almost done, but I'm wondering about Herculine's naivety sometimes!!!

I am beginning to write my first novel, and I have done all the research and read tons of tips on how to plan, write, and organize, and everyone says the same thing...the hero must succeed. Well, I have other plans for my hero. Maybe he fails or has a case of MPD, should I change my ending???

story for a book? I'm usually quite creative, but can come up with nothing remotely interesting. I want it to be about a mom, her kids, and issues... what issues though? with who? things like that? I was thinking something like "mom has 2 kids, meets guy, they fall in love, and all that, but that just stinks. Mom does drugs, loses something really important... mom gets married, but kids hate new dad? ****. this could go on forever. HELP PLEASE. I need a synopsis for a book report... The most interesting plot gets 5 extra credits. This is HUGE.
(Oh, please lsets go for realistic too, ok? thank you)

Tfhe setting is about 1960's. She was very young, about 13 when she had her first child. She met about every kind of rotten man that a woman can, before she met her soul-mate husband while working in a bar. This is a book that I read for my Women In America class.

How can/do you summarize Victor Frankl's book Man's Search for Meaning? The first half of the book basically talks about Frankl's experiences in concentration camps. It does not exactly contain a plot or anything. He also throws in his own insights and philisophy throughout his book. How do I summarize his experiences as well as philosophy and make it sound, well, like a summary and not analysis?

I cordially dislike allegory in all its manifestations, and always have done since I grew old and wary enough to detect its presence.

With this quote from the lord of the rings author isn't it interesting that he and C.S. Lewis (author of the chronicles of narnia) were such good friends considering all the chronicles of narnia is basically allegory?
