I remember I read The Stand by Stephen King. I really enjoyed this book. I have seen the movie since, I must say the book is a lot better.

My fave book has to be Titus Groan by Mervyn Peake. And a book i remember as a child, and one that i still love: Where The Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. And just about anything Michael Moorock ever wrote.

One of the most memorable books I've read was written by an author named John Fante. The book is called Dreams From Bunker Hill. He dictated the text to his wife. He was dying of diabetes, had already had a limb amputated and was blind when he wrote it. Shortly after his book came out the great man died.
