Are there any good book discussion websites for fiction books? Also looking for possible ways to meet up in my local area so maybe any websites that have local groups that are free to join. Thanks!

It depends on your age. If you are over 18 and like Harry Potter there are discussion groups "HPFGU" and Harry Potter for Seekers (if you like the Spiritual Aspects of HP), and there are other groups for all ages in Yahoo groups. There is some place called MeetUp or something like that which tells you about local groups. Libraries often have groups depending on th size of your town. And local book stores often have something.

For local groups check with any of your large chain stores -- like borders-- or even a small book store and see if they have any book clubs.
