I'm a book editor and lately none of the books my writers write seem to sell much. Writers who have at one point written NY Times bestsellers are getting negative feedback. I am totally perplexed... My inspiration level is just about 0. But I want to write again. I guess that seems kind of contradictory, but I don't know where to start. I also have a tendency to write things and be fine with them at first, and then later come to hate them and throw them away. Any writers have any ideas for me? I've tried just writing down all the thoughts that come into my head, but it's not taking me where I want to go. I know everyone seems to be looking for inspiration of some kind these days, but I'd love to just have a good starting point.

If this is so, then what is the connection? Has it been yet established? What is the reason for assassins, or would be assassins, to carry around a copy of this book with them?

I am currently reading this book. It's the sort of book that people may feel highly ambivalent about. Either you love it, or you hate it. I do consider it art. Ergo, I love it! I think it is real, and the humorous parts are astonishingly funny.

I think I might know one possible connection...and you may, as well, provided that you have read the novel. Remember the hat? Remember what Holden called that hat? Interesting.
