Now the NRA are going after New Orleans police saying they violated peoples rights by collecting loose weapons after Katrina. For us people in other countries the Americans obsession about guns is unbelievable. You care more about guns than you do Human Rights, more than racial predudice,in fact pretty much more than anything else. All a gun does is kill you, more innocent people than guilty ones. Please don't quote the "The Right to bear arms" You can take that right away from people with a criminal record,so it is not concrete or unalterable, except when it seems to suit lawmakers.......

I smoked a Cuban cigar with my scotch last night. My hillbilly inlaws smuggled them up from Mexico this weekend. I didn't think to ask where they hide the cigars to get them across?

So far it has been three days since i have missed my period. I'm usually on track, - it started earlier this year on the twenty-sixth and then progressed to the twenty-third as the year continued on. Now it is the 26th of December and I am three days late I've had sex recently, about on the 10th, and the only "symptoms" i'm having is the itty-bitty cramps (controversially, when i get my period, i get major cramps) and that i'm a little tired, but nothing else. I know I haven't used the pregnancy kit yet, but that is because yesterday was Christmas Day, alas, the stores were closed and today i totally forgot to go because I dread the packed stores (since it is Boxing Day). With due respect, i hope anyone can answer my question: Does this mean I am pregnant? Thanks for your time; it is MUCH appreciated.

Bishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa, who was awarded the 1984 Nobel Peace Prize, has candidly identified the reason. Speaking to an audience in Boston, he said:

"But you know as well as I do that, somehow, the Israeli government is placed on a pedestal [in the US], and to criticize it is to be immediately dubbed anti-Semitic People are scared in this country, to say wrong is wrong because the Jewish lobby is powerful very powerful." [2]

Bishop Tutu spoke the truth. Although Jews make up only two or three percent of the US population, they wield immense power and influence much more than any other ethnic or religious group.

As Jewish author and political science professor Benjamin Ginsberg has pointed out: [3]

"Since the 1960s, Jews have come to wield considerable influence in American economic, cultural, intellectual and political life. Jews played a central role in American finance during the 1980s, and they were among the chief beneficiaries of that decade's corporate mergers and reorganizations. Today, though barely two percent of the nation's population is Jewish, close to half its billionaires are Jews. The chief executive officers of the three major television networks and the four largest film studios are Jews, as are the owners of the nation's largest newspaper chain and the most influential single newspaper, the New York Times... The role and influence of Jews in American politics is equally marked...

I know that the MBA program is unfortunately unranked, but I do not have the credentials/test scores to get into a top tier school. I am trying to make the best of my situation and get into an MBA program that is AACSB accredited, within the city of San Francisco, and will give me some regional clout.

I've been with my girlfriend for almost a year now, and we get along great and we love eachother very much. But now, I'm starting to get to the point where I worry a little bit about our religious beliefs. I've been raised baptisit, and my girlfriend was raised catholic. It is safe to say that neither of us are going to give up our respective religions for the other. I worry about a few things. I'm not sure how catholics believe they will obtain admittance to heaven. And of course, you dont want someone you love to go to hell. My belief is that to get to heaven, you must accept Jesus Christ as your savior and ask him to forgive you. Do catholics believe that too? We havent really gotten into a religious discussion yet, we've both attended eachothers churches a few times, and neither of us have any problems with each others religion. I just want assurance that catholics go to heaven too! I hear a lot of poeple say that they dont.

Okay, so I was cleaning my ears yesterday and there was kind of a lot of wax because I accidentally went too long without cleaning them. Anyway once I got the ear wax out it was still a teeny bit clogged-feeling, so I put this stuff called Auro Dri in my ear to get any of the water out (I clean my ears with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water), but now the Auro Dri is clogging my ear. How ironic. Anyway it burned a little because I'm pretty sure it's just isopropyl alcohol, and the reason it's not draining is because my ear is a little swollen. What can I do to make it come out faster? (PS, this has happened before, but I can't remember how I fixed it. Also, there's not that much stuff in it because I can still hear out of it pretty well.)

There is a little wine and cheese shop by my house. I'd have about 20 guests. We would have a few wines to choose from and a gourmet cheese platter to compliment the wines. I'd also bring in appetizers from another restaurant.

While most of my friends are wine drinkers, I don't want anyone to get bored. I also don't know if there's enough room, even though they insist there is.

Opinions, please!
