If you went white, it would look like a 7 year old girls room. That would be too girly. If you are doing pink walls, stay away from any pink furniture!! Just accent peices, like candles, in the pictures and pillows for the bed. Might I suggest a black and white comforter. But definitely black furniture.
If you want to, you may be able to put inserts (and by that I mean painted lightweight wood or something) in the back of the bookcases painted pink or white to give the shelves dimension. But you want to make sure it's easily removeable.

The candy pink sounds cute.
The black furniture does NOT.
The pink furniture does NOT.
The white furniture DOES sound cute.
Paint your room pink and have white accents all over, including the furniture. You can decorate with pink things. Like a pink lamp on a white desk. You could also do a pink computer desk chair. Things like that.

How old are you?
I wouldn't get pink furniture -- then you're stuck with that color. Invest in white furniture or wood stain. Painted black furniture I don't think looks "now" with candy pink walls. It looks better with more muted earthy colors accented with pops of color.
Sooo... go with painted creamy white or wood stained furniture (preferably a darker wood -- maple, mahogany, cherry...).
The painted white will keep it looking bright, the dark wood will ground it. But both are classics and easy to work with when changing decor.

I would do all the furniture black. Pink and white would be too 6 year oldish. Black and pink is really cute for teens. Good luck!

Black and pink are very trendy :D and my friend has pink furniture and it look good, although she has one wall painted a creamy colour to open it up.
If your going to have pink furniture then i think you should go with white as it maybe abit too much with black. Otherwise go for black and pink and suttle coloured furniture :D

since pink probably white. Do you really need a bookcase? Well, I was thinking that do you really read a lot of books? For the bookcase, you could use it for books. Remember, white!

Considering pink is even in your username, you clearly like pink. Black and pink don't necessarily go together, but they aren't horrible. Pink and white however go together quite nicely. White would be the best colour to match with pink.

I would do white or oak. Oak would be really pretty. What accent colors are you doing. I saw on a desk once someone glued with an adhesive some place mats that were really pretty. It protected the surface and added a special touch. Maybe that would interst you. Black would be better if you are bold and expressive.

White furniture, not black or pink. Definitely white. This question makes me think of that song by Michael Jackson.
