Are they knocking aloud? Or are they "allowed" to knock? Yes they can if they think you are at home.

Just answer the door, take the summons, and the knocking will stop. The summons is not going away anytime soon. Take care of your business in court, and quit hiding from it like a wimp.

Even if they are not, how are you going to file a complaint without accepting the service? If you call the police, the process server will simply explain why they are there, and hand the papers to the officer. The officer will then serve you before taking your statement.

Yes. Give them a break, they have a job to do, so stop avoiding them. Simply ignoring the process server will not make the court case go away.

There is an easy way to stop that "knocking"... just answer the door.

Um... yes. If you answer, though, they'll stop knocking. The summons won't go away.

Have you tried answering and getting the paperwork they are trying to give you?
They will surely stop then.

Uhh if it's your property no one should be knocking on your house in the first place unless its a friend or a family member with your consent at an occasion (like a party or whatever).
