I am wondering if I could shoot a 30-06? The biggest gun I have shot is a .243, and I think that has a little kick, but not alot. What is a 30-06 like compared to this? I am 5'3", 95 LBS., but I am really scrawny. Do you think I could shoot this gun? Or what age could I shoot this gun comfortably at? And how much stronger is the 150 grain bullet compared to the 180 grain bullet? Is the kick alot different?

My bf loves computer games/video games and we are looking for one to play together. The problem is he is mega-good at strategy games, logic games, speed games, any kind of games! So basically, I lose everytime. It is kind of getting on my nerves, and he never wants to let me win just to be nice. (grrrr)
We are looking for a game that we can play together (as 2 separate characters), but don't have to defeat each other (but rather accomplish a common goal or work together). I really like adventure games, but they are almost always single player games.
Are there any games that are suitable for us?

Just wondering how many feminists here are able to whip up yummy and nutritious dinners and who also do the house-cleaning?
Is it still an important skill to have in your opinion? Do you find that there is a negative assumption nowadays from men saying that women, let alone feminists, just don't have these skills anymore?
I do most, if not all of the cooking and cleaning myself. Home-cooked meals just about every night, was taught to cook from a very young age. And I know how to keep a clean house and don't hire a housekeeper.

The bible tells us Jesus will come in a cloud of glory and that first the dead in Christ will rise and then those alive in Christ will follow. In Matthew 24 He tells us of the signs to watch for...natural disastors all over the world increasing, wars and rumors of war...hatred and prejudice against friends and family, including patricide and incurable plagues...having been a born again Christian since 1973 and looking at the signs of today, I believe He is coming sooner than we all think...what do you think?

I've noticed many younger (and even middle aged) women who can't really be independent. Like my cousin who has to be driven back and forth to work everyday and shopping because she doesn't have it together enough to buy a reliable car. She has turned down may other people's offer for help (i.e. become a roomate, or get a boyfriend) 'cuz she says she wants to be "independent". Meanwhile she causes massive inconvenience to her family. What is going on here? Any suggestions? She might as well be living in her parents basement since she's living off them anyways......
