An ideal solution is formed by mixing liquids A and B at 298K. The vapour pressure of pure A is 180 Torr and that of pure B is 82.1 Torr. Assume that there are only A and B molecules in the vapour phase.
If the mole fraction of A in the vapour is 0.450, what is the mole fraction of A in the solution?

I don't know how to ask this, so here goes. At present, I am surely, but gradually recovering from a type of illness (thankfully, not fatal) that has left a few small marks on my neck. I don't know if they will completely heal or become scars & fade with time, but they are still healing with the aid of Vitamin E cream that I rub on my neck.

The thing is, I'm a 23-year-old, single female & really wish for a boyfriend. I've learned that one of the best ways to attract a guy is to show off the neck (I really hope no guys are embarrassed by me saying this. I've just always noticed that men are naturally attracted to a woman's neck, in addition to other things). I used to enjoy showing off my neck, but until I'm completely healed, I'm frightened to. I'm not an ugly sight or anything. It's nothing a little dab of natural-skin coloured make-up couldn't cover. It's just I don't feel confident enough to show off my neck to any guys when socialising or flirting.

remember people like Sam Nunn, Fritz Hollings, Richard Shelby, Zell,Miller, Howell Heflin, John Breaux(he had the most beautiful receptionist) and even flaming libs like Alan Cranston and Gun Grabber DeConcini and RINO lowell Weicker. all where civil loyal and Really worked for the good of the country as a whole when the chips where down, who are these political hacks left in their wake

I've been sitting here crying for the past half hour and basically feeling sorry for myself and for my situations. And I'm wondering if anyone can make me laugh? A giggle, a chuckle, or a bust-a-gut laugh is needed...... Anyone up to the challenge???

Are you one of them? Do you only watch your maternal grandkids & not paternal ones? Do you spend more time with the maternal ones? If so, why do you do this, and how do you think it's fair & doesn't hurt their feelings? Please tell me so I may know what in the **** my MIL is thinking.

"I want you to listen to me. I'm going to say this again. I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time-never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people."

I know you may disagree with me, but I believe Pete Rose should be in the HOF.

Here is my reasoning:
Players are inducted into the HOF based on talent, not character. Ty Cobb was one of the first men inducted, in he was the most insensitive, racist, cruel violent jerk there ever was. Now, old Ty got the most votes of any player EVER to be elected. While I certainly don't condone Rose's gambling, he was, without question one of the greatest players of all time. Therefore, he deserves to be considered for HOF induction.
Character is not what we vote on, it is talent that truly matters in this situation. Please state your opinions clearly.

It's one thing to use the word 'heart' as a metaphor for emotions (as in "I knew in my heart that it was wrong"). But something else entirely to treat this muscular pump as if it really were the core of one's 'spirit'.

The ancients believed that the heart was the centre of emotions. In fact it's a simple blood pump. It's a far less complex organ than the liver, and less connected to emotions than the adrenal glands.

Yet on R&S there's frequent talk of 'inviting Jesus into my heart' as if the real organ was involved. Someone here recently characterised abortion as 'stopping a beating heart' - as if that were significant in itself.

Seems to me that the actual organ whose characteristics people are referring to is the BRAIN. The brain is the seat of thought and emotion; of love, fear, joy, memory and everything else about us. The rest of the body is a life-support system for the brain, and the heart is just a pump in that mechanism.

CNN and Fox news both reported that Robert Hawkins, the Omaha mall shooter was an atheist, while his family claimed to be "Christians".

Although he was definetely a troubled individual to start with, does it seem like atheism breeds trouble like this?

Would it have been any different even if he had been part of a church? Maybe he could have gone further counseling...???

Does it bother any other Atheists that this happened or that Atheism itself paves the way for such behavior???

Keeping in mind that Theism also breeds it's own kind of problems however... is Atheism partly to blame for this tragedy???

My 18 yr old son hates to bring his friends around, cause they tell him how hot looking his Mom is. I have no interest in younger guys what so ever , although it's flattering. I'm 38 & want to know where are the bueatiful hot ladies 35 over. The 30's are great, I want to start a Over 35 & Hot Ladies Club. I'm in California, the Culver City area. Any other outgoing friendly bueatiful, confident, & over 35 yr old ladies out there willing to kick off this club with me? Only positive, friendly, down to earth ladies. We can meet once a month, have a creative fun function monthly & watch it grow. Net work, motivate, as well as break that stereo type that women can't get along with each other. Only the confident, secure, pretty ladies of all races, all backgrounds can be a part. The one thing we will all have in common is that we are 35 & up, & bueatiful. give me your feed back California Ladies. For the record I am straight, nothing against those who are not.
