Since Bush has taken over, not one single month job creation has even come clsoe to job loss, but tis touted as brimming success. Since only people are counted jobless for a couple of month, the majority of jobless people, growing now to 14%, is not mentioned in offfical statements. Other countries do it, why not the USA?

I have a lipoma. A lipoma is a benign brain tumor. I have frequent headaches, dizziness, tingling in fingers, and fuzzy vision. They said the tumor was on my pituitary gland. They also said that they were going to follow up on it in a year. Is there a possibily the tumor could press on a nerve and affect my walking or vision? What's going on?

Mine are:

1. Cars that cruise in the fast lane on the highway that you have to pass on the right because they won't move over.

2. Cars that take 5 miles to pass a car on the highway, when they only needed one.

3. Cars that pull out in front of you, when there is no one behind you and they could have waited the 3 seconds until you passed.

4. Cars that, when you turn on your turn signal to change lanes, speed up, so that you can't.

I have many more, but that's the extent of my morning commute to work!!!!!!

let's say you're a healthy adult in your fifties. you have a son in his twenties who is in need of heart transplant. the only match available is yours. would you end your life to save his? technically this is suicide. if you believe in god, you must believe that he has decided that it is not your time to die yet and that it is time for your son to die. how would you rationalize suicide in an event like this? or would not even consider giving your life to save a loved one?

If you haven't heard about it, no wonder. The media is deafeningly silent about this for some reason. Educate yourself and comment:

You know the drill. A woman wants to stay a virgin. She and the guy end up marrying at 18-21 just to have sex. They end up divorced by 25.

i've always wondered about this cause the pyramids were obviously created by a higher and more intelligent being than humans or animals on earth..there is no way people back then could have done that!

and there are a lot of other things that says this could be possible..because human scientists, we keep getting more intelligent, evolved, and advanced. eventually i think humans will get to the point where we can create life forms as well, like beings from other planets did. people have already cloned sheep and created synthetic molecules, so we aren't too far away from becoming just like the aliens that may have created us. as for who created the aliens..i don't have a clue about that.

Me, my first thought was: "Well, no surprises there God is clearly NOT a delusion..."

Than I though about the sad and counterproductive trend to try and make a religion out of science (which is very, very bad for both religions and for science...). And I wonder why Dawkins persues this trend so badly...

It is a fascinating book! Unfortunately it should be made clear that it is not a scientific book at all. It represents Mr. Dawkins's
opinions on the subject and nothing more...

What were your thoughts?
