I'm a senior in high school and I'm planning to become a pediatrician. Out of both convenience and quality of education, my first choice is UC Berkeley. However, I'm not sure which course will help put me on the right track to become a doctor. I realize that Biology is a suitable major, but I was hoping to get a BA in pharmacy so I have a stable job to fall back on in case I decide not to follow through with my first career path. The down side is that I'm not sure if UC Berkeley has a pharmacy major. My question is, is there a pharmacy major offered at UC Berkeley, and what majors are recommended for those who want to become pediatricians or any other medical field? (sorry in advance if this does not make sense.)

Do you know that if you haven't accepted the Mighty Emperor Penguin as your lord and savior, he will, upon your death, banish you to a dark, horrible place deep inside Earth that is populated with angry leopard seals, and from which there is NO escape? Doesn't that scare you? Don't you think it'd be safer to throw in with the Mighty Emperor Penguin now, before it's too late? What do have to lose, except for basking in the glory that is COD?

COD bless you all :)

I firmly believe that marriage rights for gays center around a few minor details.

1. Medical/legal rights as next of kin. Both of which can be obtained in every state in the Union.

2. The largest single tax break that can be achieved without itemizing your deductions.

3. The small percentage that want homosexuality embraced by the general public. (i.e. that homosexuality is not wrong no matter what anyone thinks.)

The big issue for me is another dictating what is right and morale for me to accept and teach my children.

I am going to Six Flags Great Adventure next sunday (last day of the season), and was wondering if they allow cameras on the rollercoasters. Some parks do and I wasn't sure if this one did or not. Also, how crowded do you guys think it would be on the last day of the season. I am assuming that it would be considering it's Fright Fest and of course, the last day of the season. Please let me know and please be sure to answer both parts of the question in your answer.

Thanks a lot guys and please give me serious answers.

I have a very questioning friend. We often get into talks about Christianity and his questions confuse me so much. I can never come up with a good answer or a solid answer and I was wondering if you could help. Please don't give Sunday school answers...really think about it.

1)What proof is there that God really exists? Like he believes that there has to be some sort of higher being, but what proof is there that the God of Christianity IS the true God. I mean, Allah could have made the universe right?

2) Lets say there is a sixty year old millionare who has 2 or 3 grown children, a large house, no debt, etc. He has everything settled, no more children to raise, his is retired from his job, and a wife that he is divorced from. What reason is there that he should keep living? It would only benefit his children if he died and he has nothing else to live for? WHy should he live?
