I am referring to a nice work by Dan Brown, Da vinci code, in which he's involved in a litigation regarding some theoretical backdrop info (actually the crux of the novel) that he did not credit to some british nonfiction writers who published their book years ago under, ironically the same publisher, Random house. It seems the better route (monetarily and fame-wise) to present one's ficiton as original, yet ethically.... he should have footnoted or something. Would his fame have been any less had he simply footnoted and gave credit? Did he simply forget?

am in need of advise?
I rented a car for a week while i was on vacation, i declined all of the optional insurance ect as i am insured. The cost was 280 for the time we were on vacation. We returned our car last wednesday, at the time we pulled up and a guy walked around the car to inspect it looked inside real quick, check it the gas was full and printed out a recipt and told us here is your final charge have a great day. Today checking online i noticed they charged my 976.93. I called them right away, i took for every to contact some one, but finaly i got ahold of someone and he told me they found a chip in the cars windsheld and they had to replace the windsheld. He told me that i declined other charges therefore i have to pay the damages. What can i do, i did not notice a chip but those things can be unnoticed. I asked him how do you know that someone did that after i droped it off. I have the recipt showing the final charges 288.30

Is it my imagination or are most of you delerious religious types going to blame the new peace accord upon sAtAn? Of course you are. There’s a lot of rumor going on about the skull & bones secret society at Yale university. It’s been said that members have to bring skulls of real people! Isn’t this something the cops must find out & stop? It’s also been said that members go through some rituals where they are brainwashed, & reveal their sexual secrets.
