I believe in God because I have faith in him. I wouldn't want to live in this world if he didn't exist. I feel sorry for those who don't believe.

To believe has been defined as “to accept as true, genuine, or real.” The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights enshrines every person’s “right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.” This right includes the freedom “to change his religion or belief” if he wants to do so.
The apostle Paul stated a basic truth when he wrote that the Creator’s “invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that [opposers of truth] are inexcusable.” (Romans 1:20) Yes, “the heavens are declaring the glory of God,” and “the earth is full of [his] productions.” (Psalm 19:1; )

I do, because Science doesn't even have all the answers. Science just goes into an endless loop of causes for effects, yet observations strongly show an origin to the world. This is paradoxical.

Also, the laws of science are contradictory on other ways too. Physics clearly state that matter is transformed, not created or destroyed. How could you get a whole universe, and life as we know it, out of nothing (not even spacetime in State 0)?

Just SOME of the visible proof:

He created the entire universe. Contrary to some people's beliefs, it did NOT just come outta nowhere.
Jesus Christ is God's son, and he died for our sins.
He responds to prayer.
He causes miracles to happen everyday to tons of people.
There is a Heaven and hell. Ghosts may be around because (they haven't chosen God yet, but aren't evil enough to deserve hell. (just my opinion)
God does punish people exactly for their sins. I speak from experience.
He wants you to know he's real... which you should, just by looking around you and knowing you're alive. Pay attentions to the signs all around you. Who knows, he may even give you signs. There are negative forces that try to influence you to either not believe in God or turn the other way with trickery, but don't give into it.

I believe in God so much so because I have come to know God. He's in my life and cares about me every single moment of every day. I tell people I know God is real, because He IS. Even if they do not believe me because I know somewhere deep inside they too want to know God. It's so easy to love Him because he is so loving and caring, and so amazingly great and gentle at the same time. Wow.

Dear Justin,

I believe in the God....there is just one (1). Why do I believe in God? There are many reasons, but the Bible is the ultimate one. The Bible states in Romans 10:17, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." "FAITH" is a synonym for Jesus Christ... In Revelation 19:11 we read, "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war."
The person called "Faithful and True" is the Lord Jesus Christ.... none of us is faithful-we mess up (sin) everyday.

So, going back to Romans 10:17 we can read it as So then CHRIST cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. If God is going to save a person, it will occur through the hearing of the word of God-the Bible! But you must understand that not everyone who listens to the Bible is going to be saved. The Lord chose those whom He was going to save before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:3-5). However, we do not know who God has chosen, so every person stands on level ground. God can save a person in the womb (John the Baptist), as an adult (Saul of Tarsus), or a few hours before death (thief on the cross). God is in charge of salvation! There are many "false gospels" which say that you can do something to get your self saved--water baptism, repenting, doing good works, etc. There is absolutely nothing a person can do to get themselves saved. One needs to read the Bible and wait on the Lord (Lamentation 3:26).

I believe in God. My reason is that all my life I knew He was there and I told Him to leave me alone. He wouldnt. He kept me from death 10x over that I'm aware of. And He helps me live a full life with meaning

Not me. And no one can convince me any other way. If there were such a thing, why do people suffer the way they do. Why would he let children die??? I will never believe in God! He's a myth and something for people to waste their time praying on.
