Actor Richard Gere thinks that the U.S. should boycott the next Olympics, to be held in China, because of China's angry protest about the Congressional Honor given the Dalai Lama and the President's attendance of this event. The President has also visited the Dalai Lama four times in the recent past.

The Dalai Lama is in exile from China and travels the world speaking of his belief in peaceful protest of totalitarian governments. China believes he is fostering problems with their relationship with Tibet, promoting civil unrest. Richard Gere, a devout Budhist, believes that the U.S. should boycott the Olympics because of China's treatment of the respected religious figure and Gere is currently visiting Washington, D.C. to promote this belief. Should the U.S. boycott the next Olympics or ignore political differences and play to win?

I bought my daughters halloween costumes yesterday. They cost like 50 bucks! On the back of the recipt it says that you can return things for up to 90 days after your purchase, as long as it still has the tags on it. I was thinking I could just tuck their tags in and take them trick or treating. That way I can return them after halloween is over, and get my money back. Rules are rules right? They are only going to wear them once. I think it's smart, but dad says it's toooo ghetto. What do you think?

i have been thinkin about a swap with my dc headers 4-2-1, aem cold air intake, apexi n1 exhaust thas all i have so far. people have been tellin me h22a but no power steering or a/c , others say d15b or d16z6 or y8 which i dont no where to find on any site with a sure price, others say a ls swap, others say a b16 or b18 alone, i have seen b18c but i really dont know, so to make it simple i have a spending limit to put under da hood i have already spent about 1200 with the headers intake and exhaust, i dont want to spend more than 3gz under da hood. what is the fastest possible setup with what i already have under the hood in order to make my car as fast as possible with 3gz i just want it fast for that money for meets maybe racing on streets not on tracks till a year or to. I just gave away my 7 year old lab/border collie mix 15 minutes ago because we live on main street and we just can't keep her on a leash the rest of her life so we gave her to a lady that i know will give her a good home but i can't stop crying. i loved my dog so much but i knew this is whats best for her. i just miss her so much!! what do i do??

...and it has never dawned on me until now. I know some of you are going to say O'Ree because he actually made it into the NHL, but racial standards were a lot different in '58 than it was when Carnegie was playing (I think it was about a ten year gap, but I could be wrong). I doubt that even LITY was around back then to compare the two, and I've only seen O'Ree play on archived footage.
