Like all religions from the preceeding 3000 years, it will cease to exist.
Bless the ill-educated, gullible idiots.

When everyone is dead then religion goes with them.
When everyone forgets then new religion is created.
It is said that a man achieved Christ level awareness a few hundred years ago. He was asked by others to teach what he knew. He said the knowledge was for him and if he taught then people would create another religion so to help humanity he kept his mouth shut till the end of his life. Good plan considering what people did to Jesus.

Buddhists don't start wars in the name of their religion, or actively seek converts, but it has been around for 2500 years. I think because it is a religious philosophy that does not require blind faith and encourages the seeking of knowledge, both physical and psychological, the teachings of the Buddha will still be around unchanged in 3000 years. That is if we as a species are still around.

I'm with Heathen Daughter here. There is evidence of my Gods being worshiped 4000 years ago in Minoan Crete..... What's another 3000 years between friends?
The Gods are Undying, THEY have time to wait for humanity to rediscover them.

If Wicca is still around, I pretty much guarantee that it will come in even more colors and flavors than it does now. The Gardnerians, Alexandrians, and other oathbound and relatively static Traditions may still be in the mix and if they are, I think they'll still quite secretive.

If we're still around, my Church will prevail against the Gates of Hell. Jesus made that promise to Peter, and the Catholic Church is His body on earth.

I think it will be studied and regarded with somewhat titillating humour, in liberal arts colleges, much as we study the sexual rituals of the priest of ancient Egypt, today.

I think the rapture, Tribulation period, Millennial reign of Christ will all be past tense, and we'll be living on the new earth.

Jesus said "The gates of Hell shall not prevail against His church." So, if there is a 5000 A.D., it will still be around.
