There was a big hole in our deck, for more than a year and I got hurt on it (there was a railing but it did not block the entire opening. Should my landlord (in NYC) be required to reimburse me for my medical bill? She doesn't think she should; but because it was caused on her property from construction being done I think she should. Who is right?

we have an omni whole life insurance policy. that can be used as a retirement savings account correct? it is my understanding that we can take the cash value when we reach a certain age.

i have a boyfriend. but we have a lot of problems. we been fighting a lot lately. and i dont leave him because i think he is gonna change. but as i can see he isnt. just today i called him and i asked him for he's password to myspace. i know u guys are gonna think this is childish..btw we're 18. so he got mad and he hung up on me. and told me he was busy. is there something he's hiding in there? he used to always give me he's password but i dunno why i cant have it now. then he screamed at me and told me that if i called him back he was gonna dump me. i mean thats stupid but anyways. he just being a prick with me right now. i dunno know how much more i can take this.. would it be best if i just let it go.

I'm a first semester freshman at college and I took a class here over the summer and fell in love with the school.

I came back in August expecting to live with a good friend of mine but she ended up transfering instead i got a jehova witness who tried to convert me...I couldn't take it so i moved out into a sports dorm which I was told I would be in until the end of the semester. A week later the girl's roommate came back so I had to move again. A week after that my cash got stolen!!

I didn't have that great of grades in high school and I really want to transfer. It's breaking my mother's heart and I can't understand why!! She's so afraid I'm going to end up not being accepted anywhere else for next semester

She really wants me to stick it out but i'm MISERABLE!! I'm not eating right, I'm depressed, I don't talk to people!! This wasn't me a year ago!!

She refuses to help me look at other schools
she just wants me to get used to here
but i hate it here!!
WHAT SHOULD I DO?!!!
